Our client a well known, long established organisation who are a market leader in their sector are currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support two specific areas of the division.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Use analytical capabilities to assess the commercial viability of business initiatives and provide data-backed recommendations to management.
  • Direct the budgeting and forecasting process, developing complex financial models to enable accurate and timely delivery of financial plans.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing financial insights that drive profitability and aid decision-making.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the weekly trading forum, offering commercial insights, identifying opportunities and risks, and challenging stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Manage the provision of timely MI for trade-facing operations, conducting ROI analysis for trade-related incentives to optimise financial performance.
  • Continuously review operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring they enhance business performance and the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the wholesale businesses ensuring alignment on financial strategies.

They are seeking someone with strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring who has the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders, influencing decision-making. Ideally a qualified Accountant, however individuals with very strong commercial/FP&A experience who are not qualified or still actively studying will also be considered.
